• Slashdot Mostly technical discussions and rants by lots of people (and sometimes some of it is even relevant, true and new).
• The Register IT "news" with a sense of humour.
• #RootPrompt.org Nothing but Unix. Good source of Unix-related technical articles.
• OpenBSD journal easy than reading all of misc.openbsd.
• www.incidents.org Handler's Diary This weeks Internet attacks.
• LWN.net (aka Linux Weekly News), very professional summary of the weeks Linux news.
• Sun's Java Developer Connection Bugs database and Early access for all your Java needs.
• Subversion - excellent source control system
